"Crown For Kings", the debut album on ill-funk recordings.

Composed of 9 tracks based on the theme, of a Crown and it's Kings, the music and it's MC's.

The album was recorded during the Spring/Summer of 2020 and it was originally intended, for the purpose of being an instrumental / beats album, following the recording of the album "Vol 1 - Magnifying Glass - The Love That Exists", which was was put on hold, after the initial music and recording process was completed.

From that point onwards "Crown For Kings" was expanded from raw beats into a dynamic cohesive project.

Mc's were sourced that would enhance each song with their unique set of qualities albeit cadence, flow, lyrical content and most importantly were their words and emotions relevant to the music.

The original raps were edited and arranged, in some cases adding a hook and background vocals as was the case with Thug Love (feat. Tragedy Khadafi); Dimes, 20's, 50's & Bricks (feat. Saigon, Inspectah Deck, Bekay) and Infinity (feat. XXXTentacion & Joey Badass).

Where else would you find MC's on an album, that range between Tragedy Khadafi and XXXTentacion.

The last parts of the album to be completed were the Intro and Outro, which now upon listening, set the tone for the album.

All performance, recording, mixing engineering and mastering were executed by ill-funk at the G Building, London.

"Crown for Kings" is a record with a message, speaking from the soul, a gift and an artistic statement.
